I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that these forums need to be cleaned out better (sorry, working on it), so be sure to check the dates on posts so you're not reading something from years past and thinking it's for this year!
Regarding the site location, if you're traveling, aim for Durango, CO, but open site scouting is ongoing until the Full Moon in early June, when scouts will convene, report-back, and select a site. Directions will be announced publicly some time the day after scout council. Stay tuned!

Well how the fuck does a person get to Durango if they aren't driving or doing rideshare if there is no public transportation to there?
I'm guessing the same way someone would get the fuck in the woods in that same scenario, regardless of the location. Of course, it would be ideal if mass transit came to Durango, and Greyhound used to until they closed the service, but only after spending a few mil of taxpayer dollars on a new transit center in Durango. There's a small local airport, and we've shuttled people from there before. But I guess you can rideshare or hitch-hike from whatever location you're able to take public/mass transit to. Grand Junction has a good crew of folks coming down, and you could probably find a ride easy enough from there. Or Denver...
